The Hamlet Craft Tools Thin Parting Tool is specifically designed to separate (part) timber into two pieces, and is also predominantly used to make sizing cuts. This 1/16” parting tool with fixed rosewood handle is very handy for small projects where a minimum of waste can be achieved.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Thin Parting Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT089 - 1/16" with fixed handle

The tool has a fixed rosewood handle and is finished with a brass rivets.
