The Hamlet Craft Tools Swan Neck Deep Hollowing Tool is perfect for removing the insides of hollow forms. The tool features a HCT602S (1/2" High Speed Steel Cutter) which can be rotated and adjusted to best suit the work. The swan neck shape allows the tool to hollow out vases/boxes with more ease than a straight tool.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel tip, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Swan Neck Deep Hollowing Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT159 - 1/2" (13mm) Swan Neck Stem with 1/2" Cutter & Edge Protector with 14" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
