Round Nose Scraper

The Hamlet Craft Tools Round Nose Scraper is used to hollow and give a smooth finish to concave surfaces such as the inside of a bowl or goblet.  

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Round Nose Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT116 - 1/2" (13mm) with 10" handle
  • HCT117 - 3/4" (20mm) with 10" handle
  • HCT118 - 1" (25mm) with 10" handle
  • HCT119 - 1 1/4" (32mm) with 14" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
