The Hamlet Craft Tools Long Hole Boring Tool is a merge between a spiral fluted gimlet and fluted angle cutter, which enables you to cut and remove wood in deep vessels with ease. This tool will produce a long hole for table or standard lamps used in conjunction with a hollow live centre.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Long Hole Boring Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT160 - 5/16" (8mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
