Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Round Scraper

The Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Round Scraper is designed to keep vibration to a minimum, holding great balance while in use and leaving a clean finish. It is ideal for hollowing and giving a smooth finish to concave surfaces such as the inside of a large bowl or vase. 

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Round Scraper is available in the below sizes:

• HCT140C - 1/2" (13mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT141C - 3/4" (20mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT142C - 1" (25mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT144C - 1 1/2" (38mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
