The Hamlet Craft Tools  Bedan Tool is used in the same way as the beading and parting tool, but the tapered sides allow the tool to plunge cut while minimising the risk of the blade jarring on the piece.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools  Bedan Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT124 - 3/8" (10mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
