Long Thin Bevel Edge Paring Chisel

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Long Thin Bevel Edge Paring Chisel has a longer blade than a standard length carpenters chisel. It has a relatively thin blade which tapers towards the cutting edge. The paring chisel is usually used by hand with one hand controlling the handle and the other the blade. This technique allows effortless wood removal by paring thin slivers.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention. It has a bevel on 3 faces.

The Long Thin Bevel Edge Paring Chisel is available in the below sizes:

  • F32 - 1/4" (6mm)
  • F33- 1/2" (13mm)
  • F34 - 3/4" (20mm)
  • F35 - 1" (25mm)
  • F36 - 1 1/16" (27mm)

The chisel has a stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.

Blade Length: 7.5" approx.

Handle Length: 5.5" approx.
