Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Standard Skew Chisel
The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Standard Skew Chisel is used in spindle turning, as well as for cleaning up end grain and vee cuts. It is stronger and heavier than most other types of skew chisel, making it less prone to vibration. The chisel has a combination of a flat skew face and rolled edges for steadiness on the tool rest without fear of drag.
This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.
The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.
