The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Square End Chisel is the traditional choice for planing cuts on cylinders and tapered forms. Used correctly, it gives a wonderful finish even on difficult wood. This tool is stronger and heavier than most other types of square end chisel, meaning it is less susceptible to vibration.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Square End Chisel is available in the below sizes:

  • HS25 - 1" (25mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
