The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Small Parting Tool is an essential part of a turners kit. This small, narrow parting tool is suited to more detailed work. This tool is ideal for cutting deep grooves and for separating (parting) finished work from the waste.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Small Parting Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HS32 - 1/2" x 1/8" with 7" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
