Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Ray Key Dual Angle Shear Scraper

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Ray Key Dual Angle Shear Scraper is a purpose-oriented tool developed in cooperation with Ray, drawing on his many years of experience in creating superior boxes, bowls and platters. The scraper can be used going in either direction to get the smoothest possible cut before sanding.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Ray Key Dual Angle Shear Scraper is available in the below sizes:

• HS111 - 1 1/2" x 3/8" with 11.5" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
