The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Diamond Side Cutting Scraper is used to finish the insides of objects as it is able to cut where conventional tools cannot reach, as it cuts from the side rather than the end of the tool. It can be used to hollow and finish the side and the bottom holes, such as the inside of a turned container.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Diamond Side Cutting Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • HS36 - 3/4" (20mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
