Beading & Parting Tool

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Beading & Parting Tool is for forming beads, rounding off or cleaning up the ends of cylinders, forming short straight sections, cutting straight bottom notches, turning spigots and making vee cuts.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Beading & Parting Tool is available in the below sizes:

  • HS11 - 1/4" (6mm) with 7" handle
  • HS12 - 3/8" (10mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
