Diamic Bevel Edge Firmer Chisel

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Bevel Edge Firmer Chisel is a great all round chisel. It is the most commonly used chisel by cabinet makers, carpenters and DIY'ers alike. The bevel edge design gives it the advantage of being able to work into the corners of dovetail joints and other joints with acute angles .

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention. It has a bevel on 3 faces.

The Bevel Edge Firmer Chisel is available in the below sizes:

• F55 - 1/4" (6mm)
  
• F56 - 3/8" (10mm)
• F57- 1/2" (13mm)
  
• F59 - 3/4" (20mm)
• F60 - 1" (25mm)
  

The chisel has a stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.

Handle Length: 5.5" approx.

The tools may require a final honing before use to suit the users individual needs (as will regularly need to be done through the use of the tools).

These tools are hand forged using traditional techniques and, as such, are not precision made.
