The Hamlet Craft Tools Hollowing Gate was specifically designed to be used with the Brother and Sister Hollowing Systems, but can be used with any tool with the shaft diameter of either 13mm or 16mm. The hollowing gate makes it easier to control the tool, especially when making heavy rip and cross cuts when turning hollow forms. The shaft fits into the tool rest holder, and comes in a variety of sizes, making it suitable for all lathes
