Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Skew Scraper L/H

The Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Skew Scraper L/H is designed to keep vibration to a minimum, holding great balance while in use and leaving a clean finish. It is ideal for deep hollowing operations and can be used on the outside bottom and side of bowls and hollow forms.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Heavy Duty Skew Scraper L/H is available in the below sizes:

• HCT140E - 1/2" (13mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT141E - 3/4" (20mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT142E - 1" (25mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle
• HCT144E - 1 1/2" (38mm) x 3/8" (10mm) with 14" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
