The Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas Square End Scraper was designed to Glenn's specifications for cleaning out corners and turning the interior when box making, and for quickly producing a recess at the base of a platter or bowl for mounting on your four jaw chuck. If used to produce a chucking recess, an additional tool will be needed to produce the dovetail angle.
This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.
The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.
The Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas Square End Scraper is available in the below sizes:
- GL10 - 3/4" (20mm) with 16" handle
The tool has a Hamlet Glenn Lucas brand stained beech handle and features a solid brass ferrule.
