The Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas Round Nose Negative Rake Scraper was designed to Glenn's specifications primarily to help you perfect gentle flowing curves such as the internal surface of a platter. The scraper is similar in description to the GL1 but with a round nose, which makes it suitable for most scraping applications.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas Round Nose Negative Rake Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • GL2 - 1 3/8" x 3/8" with 16" handle

The tool has a Hamlet Glenn Lucas brand stained beech handle and features a solid brass ferrule.
