Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas M42 Bowl Gouge

The Hamlet Craft Tools Glenn Lucas M42 Bowl Gouge was designed to Glenn's specifications primarily for the initial rough shaping of wet or dry bowl blanks. The gouge has a swept back profile with a 55 degree double bevel signature grind for fast wood removal and a fine finish. It also helps you maintain critical bevel contact when reaching down inside a bowl. With its masterflute parabolic profile (the only flute profile on the Glenn Lucas gouges) for easier sharpening and improved chip clearance, the gouge is highly recommended by Glenn for use as a general purpose bowl gouge.

This fine turning tool, featuring an M42 High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today. M42 Stay Sharp tools set a new standard for quality and performance in woodturning tools.
