The Hamlet Craft Tools Diamond Side Cutting Scraper is used to finish the insides and bottoms of objects as it is able to cut where conventional tools cannot reach. This tool is intended for inside use in small square bottomed work as it can square the bottom with the side wall of the project.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Hamlet Craft Tools Diamond Side Cutting Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • HCT121 - 3/4" (20mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
