The Hamlet Craft Tools Burnisher is used to create a burr, or an edge, on a scraper so that the scraper can be used efficiently.
This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment to deliver the design and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.
The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.
The Hamlet Craft Tools Burnisher is available in the below sizes:
- HCT165 - 3/8" (10mm) with 6" handle
The tool has a Hamlet brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
