Diamic Registered Mortice Chisel

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Registered Mortice Chisel is thicker than the regular firmer chisel, giving it the strength to cut and lever out waste wood, making it capable of heavy-duty work.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Registered Mortice Chisel is available in the below sizes:

• F23 - 1/4" (6mm)
• F24A - 3/8" (10mm)
• F24 - 1/2" (13mm)
  
• F25 - 3/4" (20mm)
• F26 - 1" (25mm)

The chisel has a hardwood handle, a leather washer (designed to absorb shock), a steel ferrule and a steel hoop fitted to the striking end of handle designed to resist splitting.

Handle Length: 5.75" approx.

The tools may require a final honing before use to suit the users individual needs (as will regularly need to be done through the use of the tools).

These tools are hand forged using traditional techniques and, as such, are not precision made.
