Diamic Firmer Chisel

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Firmer Chisel is a standard length carpenters chisel and great all round chisel. It is the most commonly used chisel by cabinet makers, carpenters and DIY'ers alike. 

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention. It has a bevel on 3 faces.

The Firmer Chisel is available in the below sizes:

• F49 - 1/4" (6mm)
  
• F50 - 3/8" (10mm)
• F51- 1/2" (13mm)
  
• F52 - 5/8" (16mm)
• F53 - 3/4" (20mm)
• F54 - 1" (25mm)
  

The chisel has a stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule. 

Blade Length: 4" approx.

Handle Length: 5.5" approx.

The tools may require a final honing before use to suit the users individual needs (as will regularly need to be done through the use of the tools).

These tools are hand forged using traditional techniques and, as such, are not precision made.
