Square End Scraper

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Square End Scraper is perfect for finishing flat-bottomed or convex surfaces, such as the outside of a bowl. It can also be used for hollowing and finishing flat bottom holes in chuck work e.g. turned containers.

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Square End Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • HS28 - 1/2" (13mm) with 10" handle
  • HS29 - 3/4" (20mm) with 10" handle
  • HS30 - 1" (25mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
