The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Round Bar Skew Chisel is used in spindle turning, as well as for cleaning up end grain and vee cuts. It was developed specially to allow the blade to move more freely along the tool rest.  

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Round Bar Skew Chisel is available in the below sizes:

  • HS130 - 1/2" (13mm) with 14" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
