The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Pyramid Parting Tool is a unique, multi-purpose tool that is ideal for beginners and experienced woodturners alike. It features a three-sided pyramid design that is excellent for turning beads and spheres; for shearing or planing surfaces in the same way that a skew is used; as well as for acting as a parting tool - being ideal for cutting deep grooves and for separating (parting) finished work from the waste.
This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.
The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.
The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Pyramid Parting Tool is available in the below sizes:
- HS166 - 1/2" with 10" handle
The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
