The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Diamond Point Scraper is used for incised line decoration, or for creating a spigot at the bottom of a bowl or platter so it can be held in the dovetail jaws of a chuck.  

This fine turning tool, featuring a High Speed Steel blade, combines traditional handcrafting and forging skills with modern heat treatment and finishing techniques to deliver the design, finish, and edge retention properties demanded by woodturners of today.

The blade is carefully forged, hardened and tempered, and then hardness tested to guarantee edge retention.

The Diamic by Henry Taylor Tools Diamond Point Scraper is available in the below sizes:

  • HS45 - 1" (25mm) with 10" handle

The tool has a Henry Taylor Diamic brand stained beech handle and is finished with a brass ferrule.
